Amino acids from the stars tell us
We could have come from outer space, comets.
Leftward corkscrewing molecule strands make
Quite a compelling case for the theory
Of extra-terrestrial origin.
Intriguing, to think of the alternate
Strands. Those rightward-coiling people living
Across the spiral arm of the cosmos,
Guts on the outside, eyes on ten foot stalks.
Or maybe just indifferent to Marmite.
